Workers Compensation: Appeals | 8 hours: This one-day follow-up to the basic Workers’ Compensation course covers the types of appeals, completing an appeal form, and submitting appeals in the ECOMP system. Examples of denied claims and what to look for will be discussed. We recommend completion of the Basic webinar prior to attending this course.

The class will discuss the 4 types of appeals and the timeline for each appeal

1. Oral Hearing
2. Review of Record
3. Reconsideration
4. ECAB

The class will also discuss the process of requesting representation from AFGE to conduct the Oral hearing and Reconsiderations.
