This training equips federal employees and union representatives with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully navigate the workers’ compensation process with Department of Labor. Participants will explore the 5 key requirements when filing a claim, understand the legal framework outlined in FECA regulations as well as the Publication CA-810, and gain hands-on experience using the ECOMP system. Additional information regarding Light Duty assignments, Reasonable Accommodations, claim denials and a brief overview of the appeals process will also be included.

This course blends practical instruction with interactive review, ensuring participants leave with an understanding of how to support claims effectively and compliantly. To receive a certificate of completion participants are required to attend both days.
